Nike release new “React” technology
The innovation of footwear technology is constantly progressing as market leaders, Adidas and Nike, constantly battle for the latest advancement that will push their brand to the next level. The past few years have seen the introduction of Boost, FlyKnit, Primeknit, ZoomX, Futurecraft and many more as the search continues for the lightest, most durable cushioned ride known to the world.
Nike’s turn is up with the release of their newly formed “React” technology that features on the fresh Nike Epic React silhouette. Nike claims the new technology to be 11x softer, 10x bouncier and 5x lighter then the previous Nike LunarEpic Low Flyknit 2. Bold claims from the brand as it states that it took “3 years and 400 combinations” to land at the react technology presented to us now.
Nike turned to athletes for their research, collecting and correlating movement, speed, force and pressure areas to creat a fluid feel with every stride. Comfier than Boost? Unsure, but I believe this technology can offer a different ride that the Boost can not.
